Meet the Family Foot Care Team
Richard M. Adams, DPM
Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery
Assistant Professor at TCU, Burnett School of Medicine
Dr. Richard Adams founded Family Foot Care in January, 1992. He has spent the last 34 years providing quality foot care to patients covering a wide geographical area southwest of Fort Worth.
Dr. Adams is certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle surgery, is an associate member of the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
Dr. Adams has lectured nationally on topics including specialty surgical procedures and heel pain treatment. Dr. Adams and his family reside in Granbury, Texas.
Payal Patel, DPM
Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine
Dr. Payal Patel graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI with a B.S. in Biology. She went on to Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, FL where she received a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Patel then completed a three-year residency at Beaumont Health – Farmington Hills in Michigan, where she had the privilege of serving as Chief Resident in her final year. While in residency, she received extensive training in forefoot and rearfoot surgery, advanced wound care, diabetic limb salvage, pediatrics, and sports medicine.
Dr. Patel has organized medical mission trips to Tegucigalpa, Honduras as a part of Operation Footprint, a non-profit organization focused on treating children with complex lower extremity deformities.
Heath O. Jackson, DPM
Dr. Heath Jackson joined Family Foot Care in 2022. Dr. Jackson graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa with a B.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Bio-Chemistry.
His podiatric training was at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio where he received a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. His residency was completed at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, New York.
Dr. Jackson lives in Granbury with his two dogs.
Lemeasha
Certified Podiatric Medical Assistant
Lemeasha is a Certified Podiatric Medical Assistant and Radiology Tech. She assists with surgeries, procedures, and takes x-rays. She also aids with topical compounding prescriptions and laser therapy. Lemeasha has worked in the podiatry field for 15 years.
Kimberly
Administrative Assistant
Kimberly is our Administrative Assistant. She assists with appointment requests, insurance referrals, new patients, and billing. Kimberly has 23 years of experience scheduling and assisting patients.
Robin
Administrative Assistant
Robin is our receptionist. She schedules appointments, answers telephone calls, and assists with billing and medical record requests. She looks forward to meeting you at your appointment.
Sydney
Medical Assistant
Sydney joined the Family Foot Care team in 2024 as a medical assistant. She greets patients, takes x-rays and assists doctors with in office procedures and patient care.
Tara
Podiatric Medical Assistant
Tara joined the Family Foot Care team in 2023. She is one of our medical assistants. She greets patients, takes x-rays and assists doctors with in office procedures and patient care.
Dr Adams is a wonderful profesional. His bed side manner is top notch. He explains things in such a way that you understand without feeling like he is talking to a child. He did surgery on both of my feet and they have been in excellent health ever since.
