Understanding Regenerative Medicine Injections
October 2, 2026

What is Regenerative Medicine?

Regenerative Medicine or Biologic Tissue Matrix Injections are a naturally occurring substance found within the umbilical cord. It contains structural proteins, growth factors, cytokines, hyaluronic acid, and other naturally occurring components that may help support the body’s normal healing response.

Regenerative medicine injections using Nano PRP/WhartonJelly or similar products are intended to support damaged or inflamed tissues such as joints, tendons, ligaments, and soft tissues. The goal of treatment is to reduce discomfort, improve function, and encourage the body’s natural healing process.

While many patients experience improvement, results vary from person to person. Some patients notice changes within a few weeks, while others may require multiple treatments before improvement is seen.

What to Expect During Your Injection

  • The treatment is performed in the office.
  • The skin will be cleaned prior to the injection.
  • A topical cooling spray may be used to improve comfort during the procedure.
  • Patients can return home immediately after treatment.

  • Arthritis and joint pain
  • Tendon injuries
  • Ligament sprains
  • Chronic inflammation
  • Plantar fasciitis
  • Foot and ankle pain

  • Other musculoskeletal conditions
